Job summary

Balticare Inc. in New York City is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive equipment sales with consulting engineering firms, owners and contractors and to implement the marketing strategy for the NYC market.

The role focuses on revenue generation, advising on Balticare products, and participating in marketing and technical development for the end-user customers in the New York City marketplace.

Qualifications

• Requires five years of direct sales experience in HVAC in the New York City marketplace.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent technical, organizational, communication, and customer problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Generates sales of equipment and controls for Balticare to assigned building owners and contractors to meet FY sales and margin goals.
• Generates basis-of-design and preference for product lines represented by Balticare to consulting engineering firms, owners and contractors.
• Maintains relationships with consulting engineering firms, building owners and contractors; communicates product needs and market feedback.
• Promotes BAC through customer and industry presentations and participates in ASHRAE chapters.
• Oversees proposals, submittals, orders, start-up and owner training for projects.
