Job summary

Buckley Associates is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets in the Albany, NY area. The role requires a technical HVAC background, strong time management, and excellent communication to support the sales team.

Responsibilities include generating quotes, managing drawings and take-offs, processing orders, and maintaining knowledge of equipment lines. A 4-year degree and strong MS Office skills are preferred as the team focuses on customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and product lines.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate selections and customer quotes for HVAC products (RGDs, VAVs, Fans, equipment).
• Download drawings and specifications; perform take-offs using Planswift.
• Process stock and factory orders; respond to quotations, orders, tracking and warranties.
• Maintain product knowledge via training and team collaboration.
• Interact professionally with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
