Job summary

Leonard Powers Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to design, quote, order, and track HVAC systems for NYC Metro area clients, including Long Island and Westchester.

You will collaborate with Outside Sales to accelerate deal flow and resolve technical challenges throughout complex building and district steam projects. The role requires reviewing engineering plans, using AutoCAD or Revit for tailored configurations, and developing technical proposals with precise pricing and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Outside Sales to streamline workflows and improve client satisfaction.
• Review engineering plans and use software to create HVAC configurations matching client specs.
• Develop technical proposals with pricing, specs, and system layouts.
• Oversee full-cycle order management with manufacturers to ensure on-time fabrication and delivery.
• Establish order-tracking to address supply chain delays and logistics issues.
• Prepare submittals and documentation for site specifications and maintenance.
• Conduct client training sessions for system startup, operation, and maintenance.
