Walmart Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration, leads installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial settings. You will coordinate field teams, mentor technicians, and oversee service operations to align with safety and EPA/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

3 years' experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration.
6 years' experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and an AAS in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
EPA Type I and Type II or Universal refrigerant handling certification.
HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman where required.
1 year of plumbing, electrical, material handling or Walmart store experience (or 2 years).
Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass MVR.
No DUI/DWI/OUI in last 5 years; clean driving record.
No more than two moving violations in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including ductwork and refrigeration units.
Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance.
Manage refrigerant handling in line with OSHA/EPA/HVAC/R codes.
Coordinate and mentor field teams, providing hands-on training.
Maintain parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service schedules.
Participate in on-call rotation to support critical needs.
