Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration, to lead installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC/R systems across commercial settings. You will ensure safety and environmental compliance, manage preventive maintenance, and coordinate field teams to meet business priorities.

The role involves mentoring technicians, overseeing service operations, and supporting special projects while maintaining inventory and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, commissioning and maintaining HVAC/R systems.
• Strong diagnostics for mechanical, electrical and refrigerant issues.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA refrigerant handling, and HVAC/R codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems including ductwork and refrigeration units.
• Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
• Manage refrigerant handling ensuring OSHA/ EPA compliance.
• Coordinate and mentor field teams with hands-on training.
• Maintain parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service schedules.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical needs.
