Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc. seeks a Senior HVAC Product Development Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and sustaining engineering of residential and commercial HVAC systems.

You will manage end-to-end NPD projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and sales teams. You will mentor engineers, apply DFSS/DFMA, and deliver BOMs, drawings, PCNs, and technical presentations to stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree (MS) preferred.
• 10+ years of product design and project engineering experience.
• Proven track record of releasing at least two product families.
• EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification (Universal) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, and qualification of HVAC systems.
• Manage NPD projects across full product lifecycle.
• Interface with regulatory agencies for compliance.
• Provide cross-functional guidance to manufacturing, supply chain, sales/marketing.
• Prepare BOMs, drawings, PCNs, and present designs to stakeholders and clients.
• Mentor engineers and apply DFSS/DFMA principles.
