Salisbury University (SU) is seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic III to install, service, repair, and operate large commercial and industrial HVAC systems across campus facilities. The role requires journey-level expertise and the ability to interpret technical data, drawings, and contract documents.

The incumbent may supervise contractors, provide training to maintenance staff, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Eight years of progressively responsible HVAC experience.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and HVAC maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with refrigerants, environmental impact, and gas reclamation; OSHA, NEC knowledge.
• Skilled in welding, brazing, soldering, and reading blueprints/schematics.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex HVAC systems and components.
• Install and test HVAC equipment; supervise contractors if needed.
• Provide warranty notifications and guide maintenance staff in HVAC trade.
