Job summary

Five Star Heating & Cooling, a Southern Home Services company, is seeking an HVAC Lead Install Technician to oversee residential system installs, upgrades, and replacements. You will lead a team of technicians, mentor helpers, and ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.

You will train others, handle challenging installs, and maintain a safe, organized work environment while managing tools, inventory, and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of HVAC experience, preferably in residential settings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• EPA certification required for environmental compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Customer-focused with a proactive work attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, upgrade, and replacement of residential HVAC systems.
• Lead a team of technicians on job sites and in shop settings.
• Train Install Helpers to improve skills on site and in the shop.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners.
• Handle physical tasks and lift items up to 50–100 pounds.
• Maintain organized tools, parts, and a company vehicle.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper adherence to standards.
• Assist with inventory management and job site logistics.
