Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Install Technician to oversee installation, upgrades, and replacements in residential properties. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure safety and quality, and maintain strong customer relationships.

In this role you will train helpers, manage inventory and tools, and uphold high safety and service standards while delivering exceptional customer experiences across diverse residential job sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC install experience, residential market preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Holds valid EPA certification for compliance with environmental regulations.
• Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking to resolve HVAC issues.
• Proactive, enthusiastic with a strong commitment to quality work.
• Exceptional customer service mindset and ability to address client needs.
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
• Flexible and innovative, thrives in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and/or replace HVAC systems in residential homes with precision.
• Cut, thread, and connect copper or PVC pipes and handle high/low voltage wiring.
• Train and mentor Install Helpers on job sites and in the shop.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with homeowners.
• Handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Maintain tools, parts, and the vehicle in an organized and clean condition.
• Work safely at heights, in attics, and under various weather conditions.
• Adhere to appliance standards, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and service standards.
• Additional duties as assigned.
