Job summary

One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced HVAC Field Training & Technical Supervisor to develop apprentices and strengthen the technical capabilities of our service technicians. This is a hands‑on field position — not a work-from-home or office-based training role.

The Primary Objective is to develop apprentices into technically competent, independent HVAC service technicians while continuously improving the technical performance of the service team.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of residential HVAC field experience.
• Extensive residential service and diagnostic experience.
• EPA Universal Certification and current TDLR license.
• Strong leadership and ability to teach technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ride-alongs with apprentices and technicians; provide hands-on instruction during residential service calls.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation resource for apprentices and technicians; provide on-site field support when needed.
• Deliver structured technical training twice weekly (Monday and Thursday).
• Evaluate apprentices regularly and coach on diagnostic procedures and safety.
