Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a seasoned HVAC technician to service and maintain HVAC systems at customer sites in a field-based role. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up equipment in diverse commercial environments, working with facility teams and external partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC, strong knowledge of air systems, and proficiency in MS Office and handheld devices. A valid driver’s license and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• EPA Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation/repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials and synchronize work.
• Represents the company as the direct customer contact and ensures customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment at the customer site.
• Uses software, tools and blueprints/engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends, including occasional overnight stays.
• Enforces safety standards and tracks company assets.
