Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to act as the primary service and maintenance contact for a defined market in the United States. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments across a varied customer base.

The role requires 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license; strong knowledge of safety, documentation, and customer communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years HVAC experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license w/ clean record for 12 months.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.
• Represent the company as the direct customer contact and diagnose/repair equipment and systems at the customer site.
• Use software, blueprints or engineering specifications, and hand-tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• Enforce safety standards and manage assets with proper recording of use and conditions.
