Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking an HVAC field service professional to perform end-to-end testing, commissioning and service on commercial HVAC systems at customer sites. You will diagnose, repair and start up equipment, collaborating with project teams to meet precise on-site requirements.

Ideal candidates have a strong HVAC background, hands-on use of tools, and a valid driver's license. EPA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced HVAC experience preferred.
MS Office proficiency and handheld device familiarity.
Valid driver's license for at least 12 months; no major violations in past 3 years.
EPA certification preferred (HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, etc.).

Responsibilities

End-to-end testing, download programming, start-up, commissioning and servicing on assigned projects.
Serve as primary customer contact; service products and equipment at customer sites to ensure satisfaction.
Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation/repair requirements.
Use blueprints/engineering specs and hand tools to diagnose and repair units.
Enforce safety standards and manage company assets; mentor teammates; occasional overtime and overnight stays.
