Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced on-site HVAC technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial settings. You will work with project teams, use blueprints, and apply air conditioning knowledge to meet customer requirements in diverse facilities.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. Expect a range of duties across installation, maintenance, and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 5+ years HVAC experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and mobile devices.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site requirements and forecast issues.
• Represent the company as the on-site contact, ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Use hand tools and blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed to meet project needs.
• Maintain safety standards and secure company assets on site.
