Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems at customer sites. You will coordinate with project leaders and clients to understand requirements, schedule on-site work, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

You will leverage your HVAC knowledge, electrical wiring basics, and mechanical layouts to complete installations, troubleshoot issues, and start up systems in commercial environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months with clean record.
• EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.
• Represents the company as the direct customer contact, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment at the customer site.
• Uses software and tools, along with hand tools, following blueprints or specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• Enforces safety standards and tracks company assets and conditions.
