Job summary

Abstrakt Marketing Group seeks an experienced HVAC General Superintendent to oversee field operations across multiple projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. You will mentor field teams, coordinate with project management, and drive productivity on site.

The role requires a strong knowledge of HVAC systems, scheduling, and blueprints, with a proven track record of managing large commercial or industrial builds and OSHA guidance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical construction with progressive field leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
• OSHA certification (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations across HVAC/mechanical construction projects.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel; support staffing and productivity.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations; conduct site visits and safety meetings.
• Ensure HVAC installations meet design specs, codes, and company standards; coordinate with QA/QC.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other trades; participate in meetings.
• Monitor labor costs and project performance; identify efficiency and cost-reduction opportunities.
