Job summary
Engineering Excellence is seeking a seasoned HVAC Supervisor to oversee technicians and helpers installing, maintaining, and servicing residential and light commercial HVAC systems. You will supervise staffing, coach staff, ensure safety, and help on service, maintenance, and installation tasks as needed.
The role emphasizes leadership, training, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high safety and workmanship standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of HVAC experience with technical training certification
- EPA and safety certifications required
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to train others and lead field staff
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Schedule and assign technicians/crews to maximize productivity and meet customer needs
- Lead regular meetings to review performance, safety, and goals
- Assist technicians with difficult tasks and perform quality control reviews
- Train employees on technical skills, processes and safety rules
- Maintain equipment, tools, and company vehicles; ensure proper stock and requisitions
- Represent the company professionally in all business matters and activities
- Support sales with technical knowledge and customer service excellence
- Perform service, maintenance, and installation work as needed to meet customer demand
