Abstrakt Marketing Group is seeking an HVAC General Superintendent to oversee field operations for multiple HVAC/mechanical construction projects in Gainesville, FL. You will lead field teams, coordinate with PMs, and drive productivity while ensuring safety and adherence to budget and schedule.

The role requires 10+ years in HVAC/construction with leadership, strong scheduling skills, and OSHA familiarity. This is a full-time, on-site position with a focus on quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HVAC/mechanical construction with leadership.
• Experience managing multiple large-scale projects.
• OSHA certification (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations across multiple HVAC/mechanical construction projects.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and per contract specifications.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials across job sites.
• Monitor project schedules and address delays or risks.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations; conduct regular job site visits.
• Ensure HVAC installations meet design specs and company standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors and other trades.
• Participate in project meetings, planning sessions, and progress reviews.
• Monitor labor costs, productivity, and seek efficiency improvements.
