Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team for heavy industrial clients. You will design and develop HVAC systems, size equipment, and produce construction documents while coordinating with multiple disciplines.

You will lead field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, and ensure schedule and technical quality across design tasks. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• At least ten years’ experience in HVAC design for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with industry standards.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team with multiple deadlines.
• Experience coordinating with project team remotely.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents with sizing, AFDs, P&IDs.
• Develop final construction documents for HVAC systems (chilled water, etc.).
• Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders.
• Prepare construction design packages and manage schedule/quality.
