Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to join its Building Mechanical team, focusing on innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients. You will perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages.

You will lead layout and design of systems, develop conceptual and final design documents, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to meet client expectations on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Ten years of HVAC design experience in industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit and understanding of codes.
• Ability to collaborate with project teams remotely.
• Experience with field investigations and interfacing with clients.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents with sizing calculations, AFDS, P&IDs, and general arrangements.
• Develop final construction documents for systems (chilled water, cooling water, etc.).
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
