Jacobs is seeking a Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team in the United States. You will design HVAC systems for heavy industrial facilities, perform field investigations, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages.

You will coordinate with multiple disciplines, maintain technical quality, and work within a collaborative team to meet client expectations. The role includes a hybrid work model with flexible office/remote locations.

Qualifikationen

• At least ten years’ experience designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards for HVAC design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
• Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.

Aufgaben

• Layout and design of HVAC systems.
• Development of conceptual design and preliminary design documents including sizing calculations and air flow diagrams.
• Development of final construction documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water.
• Coordination with other disciplines.
