Jacobs is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to contribute to heavy industrial projects. You will design, size, and select HVAC systems, create conceptual and final construction documents, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver effective solutions.

Qualifications

• At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
• Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems.
• Development of conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), P&IDs, and general arrangements.
• Development of final construction documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water.
• Coordination with other disciplines.
