Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Controls Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of building automation systems on client sites. You will interact directly with customers, delivering high levels of service and resolving system issues with technical expertise.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior technicians, preparing field changes and documentation, and coordinating with project teams to ensure safe, efficient operation of building

Qualifications

• Six years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
• Vocational school or associate degree in a technical field, or two years of related experience.
• Strong ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of building automation systems.
• Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through on-site service and support.
• Mentor control technicians and service technicians on building automation activities.
• Complete project and service documentation and communicate updates to the team.
