Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Controls Service Technician 2 to perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of building automation systems.

You will engage directly with customers on-site to ensure high satisfaction and deliver expert technical support. Applicants should have at least four years in commercial controls troubleshooting, with a technical degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
• Vocational School program graduate or an associate's degree in a technical field, or two years’ experience servicing electronic/mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex building control systems and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Prepare field proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements and assist sales with technical recommendations.
• Coordinate activities with project teams to meet schedule and customer satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor technicians on building automation systems and ensure safety standards.
