Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a skilled Commercial Controls Technician to maintain, repair, install and commission building automation systems on site. You will ensure high customer satisfaction through expert technical service and clear documentation.

You will mentor technicians, provide field proposals for upgrades, and uphold safety standards as part of a collaborative team committed to zero harm and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years’ commercial controls troubleshooting in HVAC.
• Strong communication skills for customer sites and team coordination.
• Experience installing and servicing electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Able to produce clear project documentation and field proposals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex building automation control systems on site.
• Provide on-site customer interface and maintain high satisfaction.
• Mentor and train technicians on building automation activities.
• Prepare drawings, bill of materials, and as-built documentation.
• Advise customers on system upgrades, retrofits, and energy solutions.
