Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled HVAC and building automation technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and commissioning on on-site building systems. You will mentor junior technicians, document work, and advise customers on system enhancements to improve efficiency.

Applicants should have extensive experience with commercial controls, strong communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Qualifications

• Six years of Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
• Experience installing and servicing electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex control system malfunctions across electronic/digital controls.
• Provide field proposals for retrofits, upgrades and enhancements; support sales with technical recommendations.
• Lead on-site customer interactions to ensure high satisfaction and proper documentation.
