Job summary

LONG Building Technologies in Fairbanks is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician II to troubleshoot and program temperature control systems per project specs. The role includes installation, warranty, and emergency procedures with mentoring for apprentices.

You will collaborate with project teams, perform sequencing, and deliver operator training while supporting service contracts and startup tasks. Competitive pay and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and analytical skills.
• Ability to independently handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Experience with temperature control system start-up, checkout, and service.

Responsibilities

• Program databases to meet sequences of operation and manufacturer recommendations.
• Calibrate and check-out control systems to meet commissioning obligations.
• Create control graphics and deliver GUIs per LONG standards.
• Instruct customer personnel on operation and maintenance of temperature control systems.
• Update drawings and maintain as-built documentation.
