Job summary

LONG Building Technologies, a leading HVAC contractor, is seeking a Controls Technician to troubleshoot and program temperature control systems per project specs. You will install, warranty, and support emergency procedures, using your HVAC and control systems expertise.

Responsibilities include designing databases, calibrating systems, creating graphics, and training customer staff on operation and energy routines. Travel to job sites and collaboration with service sales are expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year temperature control system start-up, checkout, and service experience.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle legally.
• Aptitude for computer and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC, control systems, and building automation.

Responsibilities

• Program databases for systems to meet sequences of operation.
• Calibrate and check-out control systems and commissioning obligations.
• Create control graphics and deliver GUIs per LONG standards.
• Instruct customers on operation and maintenance of systems.
• Update drawings and maintain as-built records.
