Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician III to support the Justice Center operations in Florida. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of commercial HVAC and building systems, with strong BAS support, CMMS coordination, and quality assurance.

On-site responsibilities include mentoring technicians and coordinating with controls contractors. The position requires extensive HVAC experience, BAS proficiency, and the ability to document work

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of commercial HVAC maintenance experience.
• Experience with large commercial HVAC equipment and controls.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and sequences of operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BAS/Metasys and associated sensors/actuators.
• Coordinate with controls specialists for programming and energy efficiency opportunities.
• Support electronic PM documentation and CMMS records.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to technicians.
• Ensure safety and quality during maintenance and repairs.
