Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a Lead Building Automation Service Specialist in Florida. This senior, hands-on role services, troubleshoots, maintains, and upgrades BAS at customer sites, handling preventive maintenance, service calls, startups, and transitions from project to service.
Strong customer service and independent problem solving are essential. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of BAS experience, proficiency with BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, and HVAC controls, plus leadership capabilities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience performing preventive maintenance and diagnostics of BAS
- Demonstrated experience with BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP networking
- Strong HVAC controls background and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication; able to lead teams
- Tridium/Niagara experience and Siemens experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain BAS
- Respond to service calls including on-call rotation
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure BAS equipment operates
- Diagnose system issues and identify fixes or upgrades
- Lead projects through startup and commissioning activities
- Document service tickets and communicate recommendations
- Mentor junior technicians and coordinate with field teams
