HDR is seeking a Senior HV Underground Transmission Line Engineer to lead and mentor teams delivering high‑voltage underground, submarine cable, and HVDC projects from 69kV to 500kV. You will coordinate with program managers, clients, and engineers to guide design and execution across multiple offices.

Strong leadership, mentoring, and technical expertise are essential. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in underground/downstream HV design, proficiency in CDEGS/CYMCAP, and a PE license, with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
Professional Engineers (PE) license required.
10+ years of underground/submarine HVDC design experience preferred.
Experience with project execution in the Power Market Sector required.

Responsibilities

Direct and mentor engineering teams on underground transmission projects.
Develop and implement project execution and quality plans.
Ensure design compliance with client standards and regulatory requirements.
