HDR is seeking a Senior HV Underground Transmission Line Engineer to lead complex underground, submarine, and HVDC line design from 69 kV to 500 kV. You will coordinate with managers, guide multi-office teams, and ensure technical standards compliance across programs.

The role emphasizes mentoring engineers, developing proposals, and advancing HDR's technical capabilities, with travel as needed and a track record in power market project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in HV underground/submarine and HVDC design.
• PE license.
• Extensive experience in Power Market Sector project execution.
• Proficient with design software: PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple projects across locations.
• Mentor and train Engineering Managers on technical design and project management.
• Ensure teams follow client and program standards and conduct regular audits.
• Develop and present technical papers for industry events.
