Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to oversee high voltage and EHV projects across multiple states. You will manage technical scope, schedules, budget, and client relationships while marketing Power Delivery services to clients.

Travel to offices for meetings is required; the role involves leading project teams, executing the project lifecycle, and ensuring QA/QC adherence in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field in Power & Energy.
• 10+ years of post‑education PM experience in Power Delivery/Utility.
• 7+ years leading engineering/construction teams for HV/EHV projects.
• 5+ years leading teams for high/extra high voltage transmission projects.
• Proficient with PM processes: contract mgmt, meetings, earned value, change, risk, schedule (CPM).
• Strong understanding of Power Delivery/Utility project delivery.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV/EHV transmission line projects including budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Develop strategies to engage stakeholders and report progress.
• Lead pursuit/initiation activities, go/no-go decisions, and contract reviews.
• Lead contract negotiations and client presentations as needed.
• Ensure QA/QC plans and technical reviews are performed.
• Coordinate resource and subcontracting with area/technical managers.
• Maintain regular client communications with monthly status reporting.
• Closeout activities and lessons‑learned sessions.
