Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager to lead high voltage and EHV transmission line projects across the Power & Energy Management Team. The role emphasizes managing scope, schedules, budgets, and client relationships with travel across the South and Southwest region and potential remote work.

You will oversee project lifecycle activities, drive strategies for risk management, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high quality solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field within Power & Energy market.
• 12+ years of post-education experience in a project management role in Power Delivery/Utility.
• 5+ years leading engineering/construction teams for high voltage/EHV projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for high voltage/EHV Transmission Line projects including budgets, forecasts, margins, and KPIs.
• Develop strategies to engage stakeholders and report progress to clients and leadership.
• Lead pursuit activities, go/no-go decisions, contract reviews, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with area/technical managers for resource and subcontracting needs.
• Maintain regular client communications with monthly status updates and scope/budget impacts.
• Ensure QA/QC plans and project documentation are maintained across lifecycle stages.
