Job summary

WSP is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to lead high voltage and EHV transmission line projects within our Power & Energy Program Management Team. You will oversee project lifecycle from proposal to closeout, drive budgets, risks, and KPI tracking, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years of post-education project management experience.
• 3+ years leading engineering/construction teams on HV/EHV transmission line projects.
• Experience with PM processes/tools: contract management, risk, schedule, cost control, and change management.
• Proficient in CPM scheduling and project controls software.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV/EHV transmission line projects, managing design, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Engage stakeholders and report on project progress.
• Lead client presentations and contract negotiations as needed.
• Provide strategic input to multidisciplinary teams and senior leadership.
• Mentor staff and drive project performance with QA/QC adherence.
• Lead kick-off meetings and ensure regular client communications and monthly status updates.
