Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager to lead high-voltage and EHV projects within the Power & Energy Management Team. The role covers design oversight, budgets, forecasts, and client relations across the South and Southwest regions.

Based in Houston, Austin, or Fort Worth, with remote work options and travel to client sites as needed. You will drive project lifecycle activities, ensure QA/QC compliance, and mentor staff while delivering value to both clients and WSP's Power

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field within Power & Energy Market.
• 5+ years of post-education project management experience in Power Delivery/Utility.
• Experience leading engineering/construction teams on HV/EHV transmission projects.
• Knowledge of PM processes and tools: contract, risk, schedule, EV, change, etc.
• Proficient in project delivery within Power Delivery/Utility sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV/EHV transmission line projects, manage budgets, schedules, and KPIs.
• Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and report progress to clients.
• Lead contract reviews, risk mitigation, and pursuit activities as needed.
• Coordinate resource planning and subcontracting with area managers.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Support client communications with monthly status updates and issue resolution.
