Job summary

WSP seeks a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager to lead high/extra high voltage transmission projects within our Power & Energy Management Team. The role covers technical leadership, scheduling, quality, budgeting, and client relationship development in the South and Southwest regions, with base in Houston, Austin, or Fort Worth and remote work option.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field in Power & Energy Market.
12+ years of post-education PM experience in Power Delivery/Utility industry.
5+ years leading engineering/construction teams for high/extra high voltage transmission projects.
Experience with PM processes/tools including Contract Management, EV, Change, Risk, Schedule (Primavera P6), Financial Management.

Responsibilities

Provide PM leadership for HV and EHV transmission projects, including budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
Develop strategies to engage project stakeholders at all levels and report progress.
Participate in pursuit/initiation activities, including Go/No-Go decisions and contract reviews.
Lead contract negotiations and client presentations as needed.
Direct technical reviews and assign qualified staff for QA/QC.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide trusted advisory services.
