Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager to lead high voltage and EHV transmission initiatives within the Power Delivery team. You will manage technical, schedule, quality, and financial aspects, develop client relationships, and market Power Delivery services across the South and Southwest.

This role is based in Houston, Austin, or Fort Worth with remote options, and requires travel to client offices for face-to-face meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field in Power & Energy.
• 12+ years of post-education PM experience in Power Delivery/Utility.
• 5+ years leading engineering/construction teams for HV/EHV projects.
• Experience with PM processes: contract mgmt, risk, schedule, cost, QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV and EHV Transmission Line projects, overseeing design, budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
• Develop strategies to engage stakeholders and report progress to clients.
• Lead pursuit activities including Go/No-Go decisions, contract reviews and risk mitigation.
• Participate in contract negotiations and client presentations as needed.
• Coordinate resource and subcontracting needs with area/tech managers.
• Maintain regular client communications including monthly status reports and scope/budget impacts.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and timely project closeout with lessons learned.
