Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Lead Engineer to join our Transmission Line group. This role focuses on the design of high voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD, with a flexible location including remote work.

You will coordinate multi-discipline teams, prepare construction documents, criteria, drawings, and specifications, and manage client relationships while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
• Minimum of 7 years' engineering experience, with 5 years in Transmission Line Engineering or related.
• PE license required.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design high voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD.
• Coordinate multi-discipline design aspects and project teams.
• Develop construction documents including criteria, drawings, and specifications.
• Estimate construction costs and specify materials.
