Job summary

Ulteig is seeking talented engineers to join our Transmission Line group. This role focuses on designing high voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD, with flexible work locations across the United States or remote.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in Engineering from ABET-accredited school, 4+ years of engineering experience (3+ in Transmission Line), and a PE license or intent to obtain within six months; proficiency with PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE and AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years’ engineering experience; 3+ years in Transmission Line Engineering.
• PE license or ability to acquire within 6 months.
• PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE proficiency preferred.
• Experience with or for a utility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design high voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD.
• Develop construction documents: criteria, plan/profile drawings, structure framing/loading drawings.
• Coordinate design aspects with multi-discipline teams and clients.
• Review drawings, calculations, and specifications; mentor junior staff.
