Zusammenfassung

Leidos seeks a Lead Transmission Line Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering electric transmission designs from 46 kV to 345 kV for a major utility. You will apply NESC, ASCE, ACI standards while preparing bids, plans, specs, and construction packages.

You will interface with clients, planning, environmental, permitting and construction management personnel, and may travel to sites as needed. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and minimum eight years of relevant experience in electric utility transmission design.
• Experience reviewing full transmission line designs including PLS-CADD models, foundations, materials, plan and profiles, and construction packages.
• Knowledge of NESC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE code requirements; construction specifications; material procurement process; project schedules; and construction work packages.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals.
• Ability to work effectively in team environment but also able to work independently.
• Proven ability to communicate with clients and project teams.
• Licensure: EIT/FE or PE preferred.

• Design HV overhead and underground transmission lines from 46 kV to 345 kV.
• Prepare bidding documents, plans, specifications, and construction packages.
• Interface with clients, project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management personnel.
• Prepare material procurement and construction documents.
• Work with a Leidos team and travel as needed.
