Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. This role offers flexible work arrangements with remote options or office-based work across the Northeast, including Freeport, ME.

You will provide technical leadership for high-voltage overhead lines, guide design, planning, and client interactions, and mentor staff to maintain high-quality deliverables. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in transmission design, PE license, and strong knowledge of PLS-CADD,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical transmission design and project delivery.
• PE license and multi-state eligibility preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, RUS or GO-95 and transmission fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop project execution layouts, schedules, and client updates.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and QA/QC processes.
• Support PMs with scope, schedule, and budget discussions.
