Job summary

The position requires a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and strong PLS-CADD and software skills. Excellent communication and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in electrical transmission project design.
• Bachelors in engineering or closely related field; PE license required.
• Understanding of NESC, RUS, and GO-95 standards.
• Strong command of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Commitment to safety policies and workplace conduct.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765 kV.
• Develop initial project execution layouts and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients on status and meetings.
• Forecast project resources and maintain QA/QC procedures.
• Mentor staff and support cross-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare and deliver project updates and forecasts.
• Support PMs in scope, schedule, and budget discussions.
• Develop client relationships to win future work.
