Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a High Voltage Transmission Line Inspector for our Power Constructors, Inc. (PCI) sector to support Fort Worth, Abilene or Waco, Texas locations.

The role offers up to 100% travel and the option to work remotely from mutually acceptable locations. You will collect data from field sites, perform inspections with survey instruments and test equipment, document findings, and provide technical guidance to engineers and contractors to ensure compliance with plans, codes, and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 9+ years post-education construction inspection experience.
• Professional licensure/certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections for projects of moderate scale and complexity.
• Verify conformance with plans, codes, and permits.
• Generate concise inspection reports with photos and drawings.
• Assist with risk assessment and technical guidance to teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and schedule inspections.
