Job summary

Electric Power Engineers (EPE) is seeking a Senior Transmission Engineer to lead 69kV–500kV+ transmission design. You’ll perform structural and electrical analyses, develop design standards, and create data sheets, specifications, and BOMs using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-TOWER.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions while supporting engineering standards, tools, and guidance across projects. Remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or a related Engineering discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission design of projects from 69kV to 500kV+ from conceptual through design completion.
• Perform calculations, modeling, and analysis including conductor and shield wire selection and sag-tension studies.
• Develop and maintain PLS-Pole models, route alignments, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical engineering solutions.
