Job summary

Electric Power Engineers, LLC is seeking a Senior Transmission Engineer to lead high-voltage transmission line design from concept to completion. You will perform complex calculations, modeling, and analyses using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER, and related tools, while developing engineering standards and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or related engineering discipline.
• PE license or able to obtain within 12 months.
• 8+ years of transmission line design experience (69kV–500kV+).
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission design from conceptual phase through design completion for 69kV–500kV+ projects.
• Perform calculations, modeling, and analysis including conductor selection and sag-tension studies.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, design templates, and calculation tools.
• Prepare and review basis of design documents and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure constructible, economical solutions.
