Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization Experienced P&C Field Services Technician to support projects across multiple western states. You will perform high‑voltage protection and control testing, on‑site relay calibration, and field data documentation, while mentoring junior technicians and maintaining safety standards.

Demonstrated 7+ years in electrical testing, knowledge of protective relays, and proficiency with ProTesT/Omicron tools are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in electrical testing including HV switchgear and transformers.
• Experience with protection and control testing at substations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of IEEE/NETA/NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and commissioning tasks for Protection and Control systems on high voltage substations.
• Conduct on-site protective relay testing using Omicron Doble test sets; document results.
• Maintain field logs and digital reports, ensure data integrity and safety compliance.
