Job summary
WSP USA is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization (PTE) Lead P&C Field Services Technician for project locations in Maine, New York, North Carolina, and Florida. You will lead field operations, mentor technicians, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on high voltage substations and power systems.
Ideal candidates bring 11+ years in electrical testing, expertise with protective relays, and hands-on experience with Omicron/ Doble
Qualifications
- 11+ years in electrical testing, including HV equipment and substation testing.
- Experience with transmission, generation, or distribution relays and protective schemes.
- Advanced testing of protective relays and calibration using test sets.
Responsibilities
- Lead field operations for complex projects with technical guidance and oversight.
- Perform testing and commissioning of protection and control systems on substations.
- Mentor technicians and coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and project leadership.
- Uphold safety, quality, and regulatory standards; document site activities.
