Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization Experienced P&C Field Services Technician for Maine, NY, VA, NC, and FL. You will perform testing and commissioning on protection and control systems in high voltage substations, while mentoring juniors and ensuring safety and data integrity on active sites.

Responsibilities include relay testing with Omicron/Doble test sets, field documentation, and collaboration with field teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in electrical testing, including HV equipment and substations.
• Knowledge of protective relay testing and calibration with test sets.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and commissioning on Protection and Control systems in HV substations.
• Use field forms and mobile apps to document site activities.
• Mentor junior technicians and support field teams.
• Escalate complex issues to site lead or project manager.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on all job sites.
• Maintain logs, sketches, and digital reports with accuracy.
