Job summary

Dashiell Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead development and execution of high voltage engineering projects in industrial or utility settings. You will drive project planning, budgeting, and objectives, coordinating with clients and external entities.

Projects are managed independently, with responsibility from proposal through close-out. The role emphasizes leadership of multi-discipline teams, contract management, and reporting on project status to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management or related field is required.
• Ten years of experience in supervision/management of budgets and work groups is required.
• Experience in managing high voltage projects is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the project proposal and bid process in conjunction with the Sales department.
• Negotiate, approve and execute prime contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Review, evaluate and implement project specifications, drawing releases and design changes.
• Communicate project status, risks, schedule and costs to all internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop, review and approve internal and external project reports including project budgeting, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports.
• Routinely present project updates to senior management.
• Lead multi-discipline project team in support of assigned project.
• Direct and oversee the subcontract bid process and prepare detailed scope of work documents for Supplier and Subcontract contracts.
• Develop, implement, execute and oversee Prime Contract and Subcontractor invoicing process.
• Direct the securing of applicable project permits.
• Other duties as assigned.
